WordBite Solutions

WhatsApp automation for B2B and SaaS companies

By WordBite Solutions Editorial. Updated 16 October 2026.

In India and many other markets, B2B buyers reply to WhatsApp faster than to email. A demo request answered on WhatsApp in minutes often becomes a call the same day.

WhatsApp does not replace your CRM or email nurture. It is the fast channel for the moments that matter: a new lead, a demo, an urgent support question.

A demo request reply

Demo request reply

Hi {{name}}, thanks for requesting a demo of {{product}}. Two quick questions so we prepare the right one:
1. How many people on your team would use it?
2. What are you using today?
A product specialist will message you to book a time.

Qualification without a bot maze

Ask two or three questions at most, then hand off to a person. B2B buyers dislike long automated flows. Team size, current tool and timeline are usually enough for a sales rep to prioritise.

Sales and support in one inbox

A shared inbox lets sales reps and support staff work from one company number with chats assigned by owner. When a customer moves from sale to onboarding, the history moves with them.

Nurture belongs in the CRM

Multi-step follow-up sequences, such as day 2, day 5 and day 10 messages after a demo, run from your CRM or marketing automation tool. We did not find scheduled sequences or CRM integrations in Tadlo's published plans, so log WhatsApp conversations in your CRM by hand or export them.

Lead sources

  • Website chat buttons that open WhatsApp.
  • Click-to-WhatsApp ads, free of Meta charges for up to 7 days in the chat window.
  • Instagram comments that open WhatsApp, on paid plans of both Tadlo products.
  • Event and webinar sign-ups with WhatsApp opt-in.

Product announcements

Major launches and webinars can go as broadcasts to opted-in customers and leads. Keep them rare; B2B audiences tolerate fewer marketing messages than consumers. In India, Meta charges ₹0.8631 per delivered marketing message and ₹0.115 per utility message, effective 1 October 2026.

Onboarding and support

New customers ask setup questions. A support inbox on WhatsApp, with saved replies linking to help articles, gets them live faster. Hand complex technical issues to a ticketing tool if you use one.

Security questions

Do not share passwords, API keys or customer data over WhatsApp. Point security and data questions to your documented processes.

Global customers

Meta charges by the recipient's country, so a SaaS company with customers abroad pays different rates per market. Meta gives each business phone number 1,000 free service messages a month and charges from the 1,001st.

Measure

Track demo requests from WhatsApp, time to first reply, demos held and deals won. Speed to first reply is the number most worth improving.

Our pick: Tadlo AI

Best for: B2B and SaaS teams

Tadlo AI gives sales and support a shared inbox from the Starter plan, automated first replies, broadcasts with cost preview and opt-out handling from the Growth plan, and AI drafting and summarising with a person reviewing before anything is sent. Nurture sequences run from your CRM.

Price: Free forever plan with up to 10 messages a day. Starter ₹999, Growth ₹2,499, Pro ₹5,999 and Scale ₹11,999 a month, priced on unique contacts engaged per month. Meta's message charges are billed by Meta directly to your own account, and Tadlo adds no markup. Prices exclude GST.

Strengths

  • No markup on Meta's message charges: Meta bills your own WhatsApp Business Account directly, and Tadlo only charges a flat plan
  • Built for D2C: abandoned cart recovery, COD to prepaid nudges and order updates from Shopify and WooCommerce (Growth plan and above)
  • Instagram comments to WhatsApp chats, which most WhatsApp-only tools cannot do
  • Priced on unique people reached, not on every message, so you can follow up without counting sends
  • Number health checks every 15 minutes, gradual ramp-up for new numbers and automatic opt-out handling
  • Your WhatsApp Business Account is created inside your own Meta business account, so it stays yours

Limitations

  • Newer than AiSensy, WATI or Interakt, with a shorter track record
  • Commerce automations start on the Growth plan (₹2,499 a month)
  • Tadlo AI is onboarding brands in stages, and you request access on its WhatsApp page.
